The Sherpas of Journey Inspired Design.
The launch of Project: Living Well
Project: Living Well began as an idea fueled by our passion for unique design, bold adventure, and epic storytelling. We recognize that everyone has a “thirst.” For millions around the world, there is a very real physical thirst for water. While for many of us, our “thirst” is a personal passion, dream, idea, goal, or aspiration.
At Project: Living Well, we believe that by creating unique journey inspired gear to refuel any adventurer’s tank, we can help truly impact the need for clean water while encouraging new levels of active storytelling around people’s passions. And through these stories, we hope to inspire even greater change that we can’t even begin to imagine.
We distill this into: Wear, Share, and Inspire
Our Product: The Journey Pack
The hand-picked items that make up the Journey Pack provide you with the basics to venture out into the world to dream big and discover the adventures ahead.
The package includes a one of a kind wearable water bottle called the Calabash, which was crafted as a modern design reminiscent of containers used for generations in developing countries to carry the essentials of life.
Our Journal is small, simple, and ready for all of your awesome thoughts and random doodles. There are no lines inside. So, you can write, sketch, compose or design as you would like when you would like to.
The Bracelet is for you or a friend. Either show off your PLW colors or spread the word. And while you’re at it, share your thirst with others.
Each piece was thoughtfully designed for wherever you venture to next; whether it be to the tops of the Rockies, deep into the heart of an urban jungle, or down the block.
In addition, as we hope the Journey Pack will inspire new adventures and the sharing of some amazing stories, it also represents a walking statistic. Women and children often bear the burden of walking long distances for water that often isn’t even clean – but they are parched and many walk up to 7 miles in the dry season (an average of 4 miles) to get water for their families. Keep on reading to see how we're making an impact.
We hope that you will enjoy using the elements of the Journey Pack just as much as we enjoyed creating them for you.
Your Story: What do You Thirst For?
As you join our story, we want to invite you to share your own, so…
What do you thirst for?
Each of us has a unique vision, gifting, dream, idea, challenge, or calling for how we might influence the world around us. Whether you hope to impact the world around you by creating an amazing new concept, find that next adventure, climbing that awaiting mountain, impacting others with a talent or serving the friends and family around you.
As we have been working to launch Project: Living Well, we have been inspired by really cool stories from people just like you. Sometimes we just need to ask the right question to unlock some epic conversation.
So, when you get your Journey Pack, you’ll notice that we invite you to share your story with us. As we collect more stories, we will post them on our blog, so take a few moments today, think about yours and share it with us, so we can share it with others.
Because as we embrace moments, enjoy people, pursue passions and delight in the adventure of life daily, we are each creating an amazing story.
You never know just who you might inspire with yours!
Everyone you know has unlimited access to clean, safe water. 783 million people do not. We can change that! With every purchase of a Journey Pack you are relieving this thirst and providing clean water to some amazing people with this core need. Through our partnership with Living Water International, we will donate 10% of our proceeds to the drilling or repairing water wells & providing hygiene training in villages currently thirsty for clean drinking water.
Every drop counts! Today, half of the world’s hospital beds are occupied by someone suffering from a water-related disease. When you order a Journey Pack, you’re not just providing someone else with clean water – you’re improving livelihood and offering opportunity to the thirsty who need it.
